The international congresses of the Transplantation Society form a chain of the most important meeting of specialists in the field of experimental and clinical transplantology. The Transplantation Society has enormous prestige in the medical circles. Behind it stand the names of it's founders like P. Medawar, L. Brent, J. Hamburger, J. Dausset, D. Thomas or D.E. Starzl and many others who formed the theoretical principles of transplantology and started the practical application of the results of research.
