Beside being the magic solution to the shortage of organs, Xenotransplantation would offer multiple advantages, allowingus to consider transplantation as an elective procedure with a short ischemia time, giving a chance to patients with borderline indications like multifocalliver cancers that are discarded because of the penuria, fixingthe problems associated with size compatibility. Furthermore, xenotransplantations would be the ideal response to emergencies like fulminant hepatic failure.
