Of the 265 patients who had coronary angiography (CAG), manual chart review was performed to determine why the patients were referred for CAG. The most common reason for referral for CAG was nondiagnostic dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) (39%), followed by an abnormal DSE (15%), and prior history of coronary artery disease (15%).
